I can’t believe I’m watching Jankowski and Taylor batting back-to-back.

There’s no way Venable drew up this lineup without laughing crying to himself.

Jankowski will be gone on Friday.

baldwin and sosa are keepers.

Start Baldwin at SS, Sosa at 2B, and let Amaya keep the bench warm until Rojas returns.  Tauchman replaces Jankowski so Venable can’t play his buddy anymore.

This game is a reminder that the Twins are still so much better than we are. It is really a punch in the gut to those of us that had some optimism left for this season. Ball buster. Three home runs already in our face at our park. Fvk us.

And you were just crapping on everyone who didn't want to pay to watch exactly this.

Maton is the only one to carry over spring success...Benintendi to an extent, but he was hot the entire second half last year.

He and Robert will be traded (#MakeBirminghamBetter) and even 50 wins is going to be tough.

It's so sad I don't get to watch Crochet pitch for the Sox anymore just because our organization is such a joke.

He just signed a long-term contract with the Sox so he will be pitching in Boston till 2030 or beyond. .........................................Oh, you mean the White Sox.

Teel and Meidroth should come up IMO. An extra year of "control" means almost nothing given that this team needs every bit of help they can get right now.  I would like to see Meidroth  given a shot at second with Sosa at SS.

Baldwin can hit HR but not sure he can hit for average. Defensively, he has had a few bad plays, including a key botched double play where he lost concentration. I'm just not sure about his defensive skill set as an infielder but time will tell. I just think Meidroth profiles better as a second basemen....at least IMO.

They should have postponed the game, oh well.

Sox go 2-4 at home against two of the expected worst teams in the league after winning the first game of each series.

Says a lot doesn't it? And what is going to happen the next six months.

The extra year is like 10 days into the season. Not that much of a difference. Especially when the team will be last place anyway.

You realize the MAIN goal of the season is to get a Top 1-2-3 draft pick in 2026, yes?

Not that this will be much of a problem, even with those guys being recalled, because there's almost no way they're also bringing up Schultz and Hagen Smith this year and starting their service time clocks.

It will be interesting when all is said and done if the offense actually is worse than last season.

Stone was talking about this towards the end of the game and admitted they are going to have trouble scoring.

Already in four of the six games played they've scored three runs or less.
