July 26, 2025Jul 26 I doubt the Sox are in on Vientos. They have been prizing defense and controlling the zone. Those are two Vientos weaknesses. Also, he’s a 1b/3b tweener like Vargas, who has been quite a bit worse than Vargas this year. Plus, he’s gonna be arb eligible with only 4 years of control. But maybe Gene Watson loves him?
