He tweaked something a few days ago, and "talked his way into the lineup". We can pretend all sorts of things to establish "new levels of low". Perhaps Robert will come to bat looking like a zombie, he's so shot up on pain killers. Maybe trainers will carry him out to the batter's box.

July 27, 2025Jul 27 Vientos has been a negative fWAR player in 3 of his 4 seasons. He showed some power in his 1 good season, so, at a cheap price, perhaps take a chance. Vientos is also a poor defender. Poor D was a huge problem with the last buildup. Accepting poor defense this early, especially from such a marginal player, doesn’t seem like the best idea. Speed and baserunning should also be a priority (not so much thusfar).
