4/13 game thread vs Boston 1:10 first pitch

I mean, not that it will matter with this lineup vs Crochet, but still...not sure I see anything good about playing an out of position guy in RF, with these winds.

Baldwin really had a good shot at that?

Awful play by Baldwin, so tired of infielders playing outfield with this organization

He played outfield in college for at least one season…it’s not remotely like the Vaughn / Sheets situations.

Start Greg Jones or Palacios?

Then you get no offense.

Hard to bench a kid after the winning hit yesterday.

But this is the issue playing Amaya so often...trade off.

Start an outfielder in the outfield, yeah.

You've got 2 RFers on the bench, and you put a 2B out in RF.

This is not college, has been playing infield in minors still an issue.

Wait...why is Baldwin playing the RF with the terrible wind?

Who should be ?

Okay, perfecto over. Now blow it open.

No perfect game today, loser.

Michael Taylor is a real outfielder. Why is he playing left? He probably makes that play

and it's still tied.

The RFers on the bench?

And "you lose offense" lol? this team wasn't hitting Crochet with or without 1 bad offensive player in RF.

Still a helluva start. Probably should've gotten him out of there once he walked two, though.

He was gassed, but I don’t mind pushing him a little. Good possible learning experience.

Baldwin more comfortable in RF... good/solid arm and Venable probably believed more plays in left field.

Cmon Amaya. ....

Vargas has no chance

You would think Crochet was pitching through the 2027 Yankees with how they're going on and on.

97 mph.

75 pitches.

9 k's

Really wish Colson was doing well so they could call him up and send Amaya to AAA where he should be

9 for 53, 18 K's, leadoff hitter material.

I don’t mind Baldwin in RF. He needs the reps out there if you want him to be your super utility guy down the line. Rather now than 2 years from now when it hopefully matters.

Looks like Vargas Jams himself

What is he swinging at? Way over his head.

Garrett going to be upset about that walk for a while.

Clevinger in.

Vargas should just go back to his other job as a break dancer in Breakin'/Breakin' 2:

Crochet is really not a SS any longer...at least at the big league level.
