Royals have some good pitching lined up. Wouldn't be surprised to see the Sox lose all 4 while only scoring like 6 runs total in the series.

Good vibes at home in 3 of the last 4 games could easily vanish against a hot team you're playing as the visitor. I might get overly impressed if they can somehow split the series when they have been terrible on the road and against division opponents.

They'll lose tonight 4-2, bullpen blowing the game open. Tomorrow will be a 10-4 blowout against Burke, they'll win the Cannon game 7-3 (no save), and lose the Martin game in extras 3-2.

Interesting. I'm seeing a Sox sweep x2. They sweep the Royals, and the hearts of this nation.

Didn’t seem like the most fun conditions to play in, so just take the W.

There’s definitely room for optimism with this team compared to last season. There are several young guys at the moment developing into real players before our eyes, whereas last season was entirely a wash at the major league level. Sosa, Baldwin, Quero look like actual players and are fun to watch and root for.

this is actually the year to tank, might get a proper draft pick, but the difference between this year and last year is just another year of the youngsters’ growth with a more few players added into the mix; and it feels like some of them took steps forward.

I’m still thinking this season and last were better than the previous year.  Firing Hahn/williams was the ultimate bandaid ripped off.

The sad thing is...it doesn't have to be this way between the Sox and Cubs

Witt and MGarcia (can't believe he's still so young) their two hottest hitters.

Pasquantino launched one with massive ev to RF for a long homer off S.Dominguez Sat.  Caglianone-esque.

And Massey ice cold except against the hometown Sox lol.

Pitching has obviously carried this team...and their young superstar SS, yet again in 2025.

Cubs fan and a Sox fan walk into a bathroom at Wrigley during the x-town series, both boys and fathers do their business and on the way out the cubs dad says "at wrigley we teach our boys to wash their hands after they pee". Without missing a beat the Sox dad says "at Comiskey we teach our sons not to piss on their hands".

Lol Ooh that's a mighty strong word. Just being real.No need to get carried away winning 3 of 4 at home. We all know they are still a 100+  loss team. I'm actually a lot more interested in winning this year than it appears Getz is.

Waiting for Vaughn to get hot is a fools errand. Even if he does he'll still be the same guy he's always been. I'd rather a real prospect who is tall and hits for power , like a normal 1st baseman, gets his chance to contribute to winning baseball rather than the biggest contributor to losses on this team of  big contributors to losing . What are the Sox afraid of ?
