He is quickly approaching a career high for IP in a season.  I wouldn't be surprised so see his stuff oscillate and decline at points as he fights through it.

I think Vargas has figured it out.  This is not a hot streak but rather someone who looks like he knows what he's doing.  That does not mean there won't be slumps.

He also understands and controls the strike zone really well.
