Guys and gals and otherwise, might I suggest treating tray’s posts as satire?

It keeps the conversation moving forward, the vibes lighter and friendlier, and it’s also just funny.

Ironically, this thread would be many pages shorter and probably slipping to the 2nd page of the forum more often if it weren't for the almost-comically unhinged tirades and rants which results in many posters calling out the nonsense.

The thought has crossed my mind that he's just trolling us and that this is all an act. Almost certainly not, but that would be some genius-level trolling if it were an act.

  • The real tragic irony of tray all is that Reinsdorf was the one to initiate the whole push towards the 78 and wanted public funding to build the whole stadium

  • Great, more of this "global warming" Chinese hoax bullshit. Sullivan is trying to push the hoax even more. I just watched a Joe Rogan Experience podcast and Joe actually said we are in a global coolin

Seriously, Don Quixote is like "Bruh, too much".

Your posts indicate that you don't know much about the stadium other than the 500 level (the last time you attended a game?), that you are not familiar with the Southside, and have no respect for the history and traditions of the White Sox and their fan base. Your desire for Ishbia to move the stadium near a train station more accessible to "casual fans" like yourself is all about you, isn't it? How selfish.

Private financing? Oh, like the federally backed financing for moving an enormous railroad boneyard to the South side or the 134 Million he duked to Amtrak...which he gets back later? Ishbia doesn't spend personal money. Instead he manipulates debt to make money. That is what private equity investors do. There is no advantage to taxpayers if he abandons a stadium and acres of parking owned by the public. Ishbia's greed and avarice has now taken a back seat to his arrogance. You seem unable to understand what motivates the Ishbia clan - greed and avarice and a large helping of billionaire megalomania. Do your own research on them.

Donald Vilimas, a 6th grader at Bridgeport Catholic Academy is not a causal fan like those you envision taking a train from afar to go to an occasional game. That youngster goes to numerous games every season. He really captured a lot of what it means to be a South side White Sox fan, even in the dark shadow of two play-off losses when he stated that :

"“This just matters a lot to me—the White Sox are my team.”

This kid is special and I hope the White Sox honor him and his classmates, especially if the Sox overcome all odds and play for the AL championship.

I have your posts on ignore because of your utter failure to engage in a discussion in a rational manner even once. I also didn't join Soxtalk to race to the bottom and make petty personal insults to people who disagree with me on any topic. But, I have to make an exception here to stand up for myself.

You're a fucking lying idiot who does nothing but launch personal attacks that aren't based on reality. I'm not even going to waste my time responding point by point to your nonsense because what you spout about other people is just total bullshit. A few months ago, you went after me for saying that I took my kids to the Fundamental area. That shows everyone how much of a fucking lowlife you are. Going after my family life because you don't like my opinion about stadiums? Really? FUCKING IMBECILE.

You think you're more of a Sox fan than others because of some idiotic idea that your more "South Side" than others? What a sad, warped world view you have. Stop waving your dick about your South Side street cred, nobody give a s%*#....seriously there are zero posters who are impressed by this. In fact, it just make you look pathetic to others reading this thread.

Look around. Nobody...and I mean NOBODY here likes your tired schtick. And yet, you continue to come here to take a steaming dump on this thread over and over again because stadium news hurts your feelings and makes you want to lash out at everyone. Fucking crybaby.

I'm sure your response to this is just to put a laugh emoji. Sorry to break it to you, but that is not a "sick burn", it just shows how much of a fucking idiotic coward you are. I take great joy in seeing how other posters take you down in epic fashion over and over again.

Other posters should (and have) voiced their opinion that they'd rather the Sox stay at Rate Field, or at least at 35th St. That's a legitimate difference of opinion that fans can have. There are pros and cons to each of the stadium options the Sox could take after 2029. Each site has benefits and drawbacks. But you're not interested in any of that. In fact, for other people who want the Sox to stay at 35th St over the South Loop, you're just an embarrassment to their side of the issue who drowns out legitimate concerns about the South Loop option with comically unhinged tantrums.

Okay, everyone - carry on. Go Sox and hopefully we can raise some pennant flags before this team moves to Railyards Field in 7 or 8 years.

Wasn’t tray the guy who’s scared of public transit? Mr. South side lol. What a goof.

I would say this thread devolved, but that was about 100 pages ago

One could say it’s gone off the rails.

Losing the 78 to Joe Mansueto was a kick to the groin. How much say do you think Ishbia had in the matter? If Justin could have got the 78 and continue to develop the rail yard it would have been the best of both worlds.

It would've been great. Build a bridge to cross over to parking or what not. Not unheard of either.

Also wrote a whole post treating the Southside Irish Parade like a foreign curiosity on page 132.
