Robert was supposed to be back in the lineup again today, but he apparently took a ball to the face in the cage, so they are giving him another day.

I thought maybe he stubbed a toe while sleepwalking.

Vargas not playing either, have we actually had our best lineup out there in any game this year, seems like our manager is averse to that.

Apparently it was a richochet? WTF man. This is a MLB fucking cage. Get some padding on the supports.

I've seen enough Palacios as an every day player.

The pitcher has been throwing tons of pitches with 3-2 counts on everyone and this clown swings at the first pitch.

It just feels like they rushed him

I wouldn't say rushed him to the bigs. He was ready. Putting him in the spotlight in the 3 hole because his approach is better than most in the lineup? That may have pushed it. However watching how he has adjusted at each level i feel like he's following the same path here. When he heats up i expect the power to start to pop up too.

Agreed. He had nothing left to prove at AAA.

He wasn’t hitting for power in AAA either this year.  To me, he needs to refine his lefty swing and work on framing.
