Ugh.  Well, they didn't quit again.  Quero's out is down to the ump.  Luis could've waited for a better pitch.  Any pitch near the strike zone would've had Slater, but thankfully ball 4 missed by a mile.  Taylor struck out fair and square, but was overmatched.  Just not good enough.

This team continues to be totally atrocious on the road.  Hard to win when you can’t hit a homer away from GRF.

No power in this lineup at all night to night. Sucks. Part of hte reason why despite so many more walks we STILL CAN NOT SCORE.

Taylor is 34 years old and has a career OPS+ of 80. What are we doing here? Get someone at least under 30 for the role of complete s%*# 4th OF.

Agree...He truly serves no purpose...let's see what the younger guys can do.

I just learned from this site last week that old bum veterans on cheap deals are the new market inefficiency…

Tauchman, Slater, and Taylor are going to return hella prospects!!!

So tired of Taylor

Not gonna lie - my first reaction here was "...but didn't we JUST call him up??"

The organization has no regard for Elko. I would of rather had him hitting in the ninth inning instead of Taylor. I would also  want Elko in the lineup instead of Rojas.  I wouldn't be surprised if Elko was sent back down to the minors.

Will’s in game management is not very good. Nothing about him is impressive.

Too early to judge when you have 4 positional players that should not be in the major leagues.

Schriffen and Beckham don't help make things any more exciting

I’ve started listening to the radio broadcast since the game is usually just on in the background anyway. Much better experience.

Who's fault is that?  And don't fucking give me Hahn.  Most of us know who Getz the blame for our sorry ass bench.

Nor should they. Elko is AAAA filler, and many said that when people were screaming for Elko to be promoted during a hot streak in a AAA bandbox. He strikes out too much, and he's really being exposed the more he plays. Yea, he's good defensively, can run the bases competently and is a great story. The odd HR helps, too.

But Miguel Vargas is the 1B of the future. Lenyn Sosa and then Colson Montgomery are going to squeeze Elko out in the next month. Bryan Ramos will be out of minor league options after 2025, and since he will have to be rostered on the big league squad all of next year, they should probably get a pretty good look at him at 3B, 2B or the OF this summer.

I felt he should get a shot, too. Elko/Colas as a 1B platoon felt better than Vaughn out of the gate. His Charlotte fireworks were cool and certainly warranted a look after the TDL. But he's dying right now, and it's not for lack of playing time.
