I understand the concept of needing a body on the pitching side. You need guys to eat innings.

But finding yourself in a position where you “need a body” at first fucking base is so pathetic.

What got me was he emphatically said “NO CHANCE you would catch me up there” and then like a minute later he’s like “Someone buy me a ticket and I’ll go”

That was like the best outcome possible for how Robert has been playing

Can’t stress enough how negative of an impact playing home AAA games at a short field is.

Konerko and Sherm Lollar were way faster than Kirk, might be a bit overweight.
