He entered his senior season at Nazareth Academy as one of the top prep catchers in the 2025 class, though he did not spend much time behind the plate and teams think he might prefer to focus on hitting. While moving off the position could hurt Fauske’s profile with some teams, he was always viewed as a risk to stick at catcher, and his offensive upside warrants excitement even as an outfielder or first baseman. He has a smooth, rhythmic lefthanded swing with good balance, impressive plate coverage and a high contact rate.
