Plesac makes the broadcast so much more enjoyable. Still bad, but miles better. Hopefully he replaces Stone next year.

I was watching the red sox-cubs game earlier with the marquee broadcast on...I know it wasn't the regular people but the game calling and the color were both atrocious.

This feels like the first time in a decade the Sox came out of the All-Star break ready to play some ball.

I feel like it’s usually a west coast game and I wake up and see the lost 9-2

If only the Sox could face the Rockies and Pirates all the time.  They would be a first place team.

Or the blue Jay's. They were 500 against them this year.

Might be Robert's best game of the year , which is over now. His best run of the year too with the 5 game hit streak.

Despite the bad year he can be electric with all his tools displayed in 1 game like today.

Michael A Taylor is like the permanently bad version of Robert.

I think the Sox will pick up a few games on the 2024 team. Last year's team lost 17 out of the break.

Um yeah I hope

Robert's game today should assure his being traded. The trade of course is not gonna help our immediate chances of getting better. Even though he's been a disaster today's performance shows what he (still) is capable of doing. On paper you need young guys like Quero, Montgomery, Robert to go with guys like Beni and Vargas.

I'm not suddenly saying Robert is special but I would think after today his trade value is never higher. He looked like Tatis or somebody good.

When the Sox blow teams out like that you wonder why we can't at least play .500 and contend in our pathetic division.

Because the pathetic division by and large still has FAR more talent, especially the Tigers, than the White Sox.

Cubs regulars are bad enough.  Team's just fine though.  They have captured my interest. Plesac's irritating and talks much too much.  Stay away.

Smart of them to pay extra for the "Bob" so it would be clear which fanbase was behind this.

Impressive.  Pirates fans took it even further than the large banners that Sox fans brought to their seats.  Where is this for Jerry?  The Sox are even worse than the Pirates.  Sox fans need to up their game to match Pirates fans.  At least Jerry sort of sold, but likely only because he feels the Reaper breathing down his neck.

Just a few years ago Sox fans paid for billboards to be put up at various locations telling JR to sell the team. Cost around three grand if I remember right.
