Houser himself is a freaking retread pitcher on a hot streak. That’s why you sell him high! It was the exact reason they signed him and acquired Civale for Vaughn. To trade them if they upped their value, which they both did. Houser moreso than Civale. Getz’s purpose is to improve the team in the long run, not keep impending free agents with value around to eat innings and provide you with a nicer game viewing experience. Okay… If the offer is just a DSL flyer or the equivalent, yes. Depends on the offer. Why would he trade him for something that's not worth it? He does have intrinsic value for the team.
