8/5 Sox vs. Mariners 8:40PM CT

Recommended Posts

eh I don't remember what umpire call from earlier in the game that was clearly low when we were up 1-0 but I'm going to blame that, satan, my ex gf, the guy down the hallway i used to lived at, the west coast, that tsunami for being underwhelming last week ago and just general bad vibes on this loss instead of anything else and jack in the box ads on the seattle broadcast while they're re-entering the Chicago market.

Glad I stuck it out till the end. Got to see the Robert career #100 HR and the Colson 💣 .

Ugh. Looked away at the wrong time and missed the Montgomery Mash. Of course, discovered just then that the CHSN app can't rewind.

Mariners lineup looks so much better after adding Suarez and Naylor

They have 5 guys in todays lineup who would be leading our team in HRs easy: Raleigh, Suarez, Polanco, Arozarena,Rodriguez.Naylor would be 1 behind Beni.

Hopefully they can take some momentum from that into tomorrow.

Lineup is really missing Vargas/Meidroth who had both been heating up before their injuries. Need some more activity on the bases between the HRs.

Mead should start tomorrow. Woo is a very tough RHP so I get if they wanted to protect him a bit, but if he's up you have to give him a look while Vargas is out. If Mead sticks, Rojas can be cut whenever Miguel is good to go.

Whenever I’m watching on my TV and want to watch a replay, I pull up the app on my phone and you can rewind to any spot.

I know we all wanted to go 100-0 from here on out but the real goal all along is the young guys looking good here or there. A year ago it'd be a 16-4 loss and we'd be like "well that one curveball made cal raleigh whiff, that guy's never going to turn out to anything."

Is Colson Montgomery going to be the best No. 22 overall pick in history? Proves there's no need to tank when you can get this talent at 22. My gawd he is amazing. That HR tonight was crushed.

Three players in particular bring up the average bWAR of the group, with Rafael Palmeiro (1985), Craig Biggio (1987), and Chet Lemon (1972) all having a career WAR north of 50.

Man if I was into number conspiracies and really liked the number 22 that would be a solid group of baseball players to collect memorabilia of or something. Or maybe they were just stuttering  and asked for number 2.
