chitownsportsfan
Burke and Cannon just do not have the control needed to be MLB pitchers. It just is what it is man. They've had a lot of chances this year to prove otherwise.

CaliSoxFanViaSWside
Almost had a near repeat of the 1st inning Tauchmand and Colson on 1 & 2 while Teel and Sosa K, only this time Mead also K's instead of an RBI single.

As always, would happily be proven wrong.

CaliSoxFanViaSWside
Burke pitched 4 innings after Gilbert's 1. 2 hits, 1 R ,1ER ,4 K , 4 BB , 1HBP. ERA now 4.29 . Ump score card won't be good. Edited September 16 by CaliSoxFanViaSWside

It would play up as a starter too . Needs more command to be a SP or RP.Doesnt help when the curve is so good like tonight that the ump cNt call the strikes low but definitely in the zine a few time .I mean perfect pitches called balls.
