Friday at 05:10 PM4 days It’s kinda funny Pipeline has an article projecting the first 11 picks of the draft. It’s the first 11 because Roch to the Sox was so obvious they just skipped over it and projected the next 10.

Lebron hit tool not getting better in conference play was a damper. Here was Keith Law's recent comments too as some support for the above:"Lackey was a prospect coming into the year, but he has exploded at the plate and is now generating 1-1 comments from national scouts. He’s hitting .405/.529/.811 with more walks than strikeouts and has even stolen seven bases. He's also maintained a whiff rate on fastballs under 10 percent. He can definitely stick behind the plate, although he has the athleticism to potentially play somewhere else if a team wants to get his bat in the lineup more often."Here's the blurb on Roch:"The preseason favorite to go 1-1 has been … fine. He’s done nothing wrong, but he also hasn’t blown everyone away. He’s hitting .342/.471/.683 on the season with one more walk than he has strikeouts. He’s now beating up on some pretty mediocre pitching in the Big Ten, part of a loaded Bruins lineup where the entire offense has a .443 OBP. He’s still the top player in the class and the player I would still say is most likely to go No. 1, but both of those statements are weaker than they were two months ago." I think he's been more impressive this year than he was last year, personally.

Lackey is out producing him and in a tougher conference. Still a lot of baseball to go though.

I think KLaw said it best, he’s been “fine” for his standards he set

When your stats are disgusting to begin with, how much better can they get the next season?Regardless, Getz has the top pick and if he doesn’t get the best player in the next draft, he will have failed. Saturday at 02:39 AM3 days UCLA and Rutgers are in the 14th inning. 1-1.Roch has a couple walks and a HBP. But 0-4.UCLA has left a ton of runners stranded, and have the bases loaded now.

Any signs that you've peaked as a player can be very concerning for a scout. You want to see parts of the game take a step forward which has not happened.
