Hah, saw this guy was DFA’d.  Didn’t look too interesting based on his minor league numbers.  Would rather see Noel get acquired.

So, this is going to be their lefty OF? He played CF the most in Durham in 2025.

God help us if he makes the big league team

Hopefully he’s Charlotte’s lefty OF.

Peters still has a couple of options and just a handful of service days. If any club acquires him, he could be a depth outfielder with roster flexibility and years of cheap control.

The only interesting thing about this guy is his birthday.

Well, either your starting RF or the perfect platoon partner to pair with Hill if/when Robert gets traded.

Bring in a front office guy from Tampa and immediately trade for someone on the margins of their roster, eh?

Sounds like the perfect time for the "Carlos Rodriguez is already paying dividends!!!" post.

Yeah, he turns 7 in a couple years.

We have the second priority in waiver claims so hopefully we didn't give up much more than a bag of balls.

It’s not going to be much for this guy either way.

If it is cash, we didn't.

He’s the leader this team has been missing.

Tyler Glasnow next?

Anyone Rays-adjacent?

If this is as good as they can do, Braden Montgomery will be the Opening Day starter.

Getz already said that’s not the case. And shouldn’t be.

These moves prove he won't.   They are hording bad OFs.

If they are going to rush him, at least wait long enough for the extra year of control...

I am just saying, he’ll outplay these guys in the Spring. Cuz they bad.

That would be a very stupid decision.  And it isn’t happening.
