AKME are one of the worst FOs in the NBA and there is zero talk of a hot seat. I realize Michael ostensibly runs the Bulls but this is a JR hallmark. He is extremely hesitant to put in the hard work to find better employees. He's been this way going on two decades. I have the impression he values loyalty over competence.

February 2Feb 2 Murakami already changing the team culture: new bidet in bathrooms. Pacific Rim, indeed. How White Sox are upgrading clubhouse to make Murakami feel at home Quote Munetaka Murakami is the latter of those two, after agreeing to a two-year, $34 million deal as possibly the biggest signing from the pacific rim in franchise history. As for that first new addition? Well, it’s a bidet, as recommended by the power hitting first baseman from Japan during his first trip to the South Side of Chicago and ensuing walkthrough of the facilities.
February 8Feb 8 Mune joined by Rikuu for some IF practice ☺️ Rikuu spent a lot of time this offseason running camps meant to help players who want to follow his college > draft route from Japan. Along with Mune's presence and the increased investment in scouting there, there's an opportunity to make some inroads with the next wave of Japanese talent. Sharing Camelback with the Dodgers should also help a little due to the proximity of Japanese media for Shohei, Sasaki, etc. And once the season starts, there's a similar proximity benefit from coverage of Imanaga and Suzuki in Chicago.

February 9Feb 9 I wonder if he'll see more time at 3B than expected? Another day of taking grounders there
February 9Feb 9 He is set to play 3B for Japan in WBC apparently so maybe that’s more part of why he is practicing there. Weirdly enough, Okamoto, who is playing 3B for the Jays, is playing 1B for them in the tourney. Edited February 9Feb 9 by Bob Sacamano

Venable's got his work cut out for him.

February 10Feb 10 Japanese media says 8 HR in 29 swings for Mune's BP, with that last one to RF clearing 420+ They're also reporting a change in his swing to cut down on the leg kick. Shohei made a similar adjustment when coming over with swing and miss concerns.
