Good for the Dodgers, they care about winning unlike a bunch of other teams.

  • I have a really hard time viewing the Jerry Reinsdorf owned White Sox as victims. The system most designed to screw the Sox is the one JR operates.

The Dodgers lol.  This league is just dumb. Best is those who think there are no issues. "Free Market."

Some people on Twitter are saying that these trade details could be wrong.

Really feels like someone jumped the gun on the announcement too.

Looks like Ledbetter and the pick are going to the Cardinals.

They got Comp B picks from Seattle and TB. Great haul.

Damn that’s a nice move

Pretty curious to see how this shakes out

Might have enough of this archetype right now, but he plays all 3 OF spots and slashed .301/.368/.510 in AAA last season (only 153 ABs).

6-32 (1 HR, 2 2B, 5 BB/SO) in brief stint in the majors.

What a ridiculous list of arms. You have to think all these guys are simply waiting on Valdez, and I think his market is non-existent.

Showing up his catcher cost him millions. Teams are probably staying away from him just because of that one incident.

Behind the scenes there have been many more incidences.

Its all second hand so nothing specific but far too many stories with not just players.

Relative to his talent it can only be said he was a massive disappointment. Not a bust, but a huge let down. Finished with a career OPS+ of 100 and only 9.4 bWAR.

Made 84.3 million for his 9.4 bWAR. Not bad.

I could live on that.

Def benefited from playing with Miggy early and being dubbed "Minny Miggy". He was a looks like Tarzan plays like Jane type guy. Stiff athlete for his size, even for baseball. some adventures in the corner in RF at US Cell.

Ive talked to the arbiters in the past. Its pretty cut and dry. The agents makes the case. The tram makes the case. The arbiter ask questions independently if needed. Then they have to pick ine or the other. There is no "negotiating" or discussion really.

Kind of late in the game to be waiting on Valdez.

Too many guys, not enough suitors with good offers for a lot of them.

Just look at what Suarez had to take and he hit 49 bombs last year.

Lots of lower contracts coming for teams with money left to spend.
