Good for the Dodgers, they care about winning unlike a bunch of other teams.

  • I have a really hard time viewing the Jerry Reinsdorf owned White Sox as victims. The system most designed to screw the Sox is the one JR operates.

The Dodgers lol.  This league is just dumb. Best is those who think there are no issues. "Free Market."

Other than the Dodgers Mets and maybe the Blue Jays....just no way those guys can find five other owners to block middle and small markets from getting to 22/30 on the future labor agreement.

Who would they possibly be?

Red Sox, Cubs, Phillies (maybe), Yankees (maybe), Giants, Angels, Tigers, Braves, Rangers, Astros?

Just not seeing even five from that group at this point in time ...

I bet about half of the league just called the Tigers about Skubal.

they've been doing that pre arbitration

Shouldn't they be removed from the AL Central on the basis of actually spending money.

The owner fight will be bigger than the owner vs player fight imo. Some of these small market clubs won’t be willing to spend to whatever the salary floor would even be with a salary cap.

Including the Brewers...never thought a day would come when the Cardinals are actually rebuilding and the Pirates/Reds legitimatey trying to compete.

Well, sort of.

Lost franchises: Sox Nationals Rockies Cards Angels Twins

Drifting aka Drift Kings: Royals Guardians Brewers Rays Padres DBacks Astros Rangers

On upswing: Marlins (maybe) Giants (sort of) Pirates Reds A's

Serious Competitors:  Dodgers Jays Mets Cubs Red Sox Phillies Yankees Tigers O's Mariners Braves

Liam Hendriks to Twins. i hope he gets his career back on track and that we can go against him in meaningful games one day

Back home...organizationally.

Hope it works out, except against the Sox, of course.

Now the White Sox can sign him for 3/$110M, and everybody can be happy about that milestone.

I like him even more now.  Let’s sign him for the veteran minimum difference.

Lol at that headline. Did they also throw all his clothes down onto the street from the bedroom window?

That’s more of a wife thing to do (trust me, I know), but there were a few articles talking about his inevitable divorce from the Phillies.  🤣

We do have a hole to fill without Clevinger in camp.

I never cared for Castellanos as a player. He is legit dangerous on fastballs down in the zone, but there are holes up and he is one of the worst outfielders I have ever seen. Sox do not need a short side platoon DH with character questions on their young team, imho.

Just tell Getz he is a switch hitter, and he is ours.
