How does this work? Does the team who traded the players or the team who acquired them pick? I assume it's a list they decide on during the trade, then 6 month later one of the teams choose from the list.

I think they pick from a list. Red Sox get one and White Sox get 2 in this deal. Kinda shocked it’s taken this long but maybe it was also based on performance of Hicks?
