DoUEvenShift
Unsure how serious. He walked off on his own so hopefully pretty minor. Edited 3 hours ago by DoUEvenShift
WhiteSox2023
“Kyle Teel left Tuesday’s WBC game with an apparent hamstring injury sustained running out a double. It definitely looked like an IL-type injury if it had been the regular season, and Opening Day is now probably in question for the 24-year-old. If Teel is sidelined then, the White Sox will likely carry just two catchers in Edgar Quero and Korey Lee. They’ve been considering putting all three on the roster, since Quero and Teel were expected to see considerable time at DH.“

Promoting baseball across world and Italy/Europe, specifically. But that's why Skubal bailed and NFL went to flag and skills competition.

Reminds me of when we lost Eloy for 6 months trying to rob a homer in the WBC final for the Dominican Republic... oh wait that was in ST. What about every other ST injury that happens all the time??? I'm bummed about this too but what are we doing here? Players get injured in any setting. We just had a prospect get drilled in the head in a backfield game today. Should we stop the minor league backfield games???? 2 2
caulfield12
Antonacci is poised out there. Had just enough arm to make the out.

Or Sox minor league pitching/Thorpe all going down early to TJS.
Chisoxfn
In fairness it’s the biggest game Teel will play in all year (well until tomorrow - if he is able to go). 2 1

caulfield12
5 minutes ago, tray said: not funny Or Opening Day...but I'd go with WBC from a historical stand point. At least since Japan/USA finale. Teel also learned a ton from Cervelli and Posada about preparing as a catcher. That wouldn't have happened. Or bonding with Antonacci and mlb players. It’s like a hammy pull. No one is thinking he needs his leg amputated. It’s a sport in which injuries happen, just like in ST. It sucks but it is what it is. Not about injury, about White Sox not playing in any important games since Astros' playoff loss in 2021. 1

Yeah I wasn’t joking about the injury purely comment about someone saying why was he playing or what was he playing for. Clearly WBC games are bigger than anything the Sox will play for this year. Wish it wasn’t true but it is.

Would remind me of the top of the 1st inning of the Angels first game of the 2002 season….angels gave up a bunch of runs in their home opener and I was in attendance with some friends and my best buddy got up and yelled - well this seasons over and sat down (whole outfield bleachers laughed)….well we still give him s%*# about that to this day….i hope you guys get to do the same to me! Note: Angels went on to win World Series that year! 1
