To be honest, no, the Dodgers are probably the cream of the crop. But the Brewers will play above their heads and be right there at the end.

I think the Sox bullpen will be better. April's going to be brutal. I think I said I could see them winning 13 by 5/1. they play the Nats and Angels at home at the end of the month. But Blue Jays, Orioles, Royals in KC, Rays and D-Backs... they've got their work cut out for them.

I believe the word you used fot the bullpen was special. It's not.

  • Just waiting for Reinsdorf to leave this earth

  • hey, at least we’re hurting the Cubs and Montgomery and Murakami had good games.

  • You score 7 and lose. It's a curse. Won't be lifted until the Reinsdorf name is out of the picture

Was it Yogi Berra who said "DeJa vu all over again"

Davis Martin is probably the best Sox starter. Why didint he pitch in the first series?

Brewers or Padres pens...

Shane Smith, your Sox All Star rep. Feels like it was 50% pitching against his former team but that wasn't even the first time. Made for a good story.

No clue who's going to have lowest era of that top current four.

Then you have Fedde/Cannon.

Sun-Times doesn't mince words:

MILWAUKEE — It looked like a Colson Montgomery grand slam and yet another home run from Munetaka Murakami on Sunday might cure what had ailed the White Sox on a nauseating opening weekend.

But a revamped Sox bullpen showed the same leaks it has for years as a six-run eighth-inning meltdown gave way to a deflating 9-7 loss to the Brewers, capped by Christian Yelich’s go-ahead three-run blast off newly signed Sox closer Seranthony Dominguez.

I am going to go with room temperature dog water.

If we could harness the suck of the bullpen it would revolutionize the energy industry.

Maybe get some windmills for how much they blow?

Well, one of these listacles somebody posted put the Sox bullpen at #13 in the game? So I'm not alone.

13 out of 30 is special? Wouldn’t that be closer to middle of the road?

Was that #13 in baseball or 13th in the American League?

I don't think Caulfield ever specified so I don't know.

Genuinely think the Knights might beat the Sox in a 3 game series.

I'd give them the edge in the rotation for sure.

WE said “#13 in the game” so I assume he was talking about the entire MLB.

Sorry for giving credit to the wrong person. It was not intentional, I simply didn't remember.

This bullpen though appears to be far from average.

Venable got out-Managed in every game.

I went to yesterday's game. Took the Amtrak to MKE. On the way home, a Sox fan sitting by us swore this is one of the worst Sox teams ever. Mune to me makes them more watchable as does Montgomery. Meidroth has a chance to be a fun guy to watch, and I really like Teel, and Hays. He agreed but his though is based on the pitching he deemed to be the worst he's seen in 50 years. At least there are some potential good ones in the wings.

Dominguez walked into a difficult, but not impossible, situation and threw a bad pitch to one of the better hitters in the league. As soon as I saw Yelich pinch hitting, I knew it was going to be bad.

Bullpen looks mighty terrible so far, and the starters don't look so hot either. Kay actually didn't pitch poorly, which is at least somewhat encouraging.

Offense came to life a bit, and the homers are nice to see. But, man, if you score 7 runs and are leading by 5 late in the game, you can't blow it like that.
