17 hours ago17 hr Wind out to right, get your prop bets in on a Mune shot and Mont bomb! Parlay it if you're feelin frisky. Greg has plenty of house money to give out.
17 hours ago17 hr This SP for Washington likes to give up the HR ball. Hopefully the Sox can take advantage and start a home winning streak.
17 hours ago17 hr Acuna and Meidroth in the line-up over Benintendi seems stupid. Not sure why you wouldnt lead him off.

Antonacci will eventually start hitting and should hit some home runs. Maybe Getz can work a trade while the Nationals are in town that would unite Acuna with his bro. 17 hours ago17 hr Washington has a sort of similar vibe to the Sox right now with some young exciting bats. Wood/Abrams can give Mune/Montgomery a run for their money.Think Sox starting pitching has an edge, but don't know much about the Nats pen other than they have old friend Gus Varland.

Should be a fun series if we keep hitting.
17 hours ago17 hr Soxtalk don't ever change. A week ago it was brain dead to leadoff Beni .Now people want him leading off against a LH opener. My only stance on that is batting Beni at leadoff against RH starting pitching produced wins and Beni has hit way better there then anywhere else. Small sample of course but so is winning while he's been at it.If there's been a Mune effect based on seeing more good pitches batting right in front of him that has helped Beni's production then I'm all for it since he does hit HR's .Both his HR's have come leading off as have the majority of his hits and runs batted in.Time to put the pedal to the metal at home. 16 hours ago16 hr Once the opener's out, I can see them pinch-hitting Beni for Pereira, depending on ... things.

But...............they seem to not stick with what works

He probably won't pitch more than 2 innings but it means you get lineup changes. The reverse jinx for the bottom of the lineup is in full effect !

Also would expect him to potentially PH for Acuna or something later in the game. But Poulin has a 2+ WHIP vs. righties so far, it makes sense to give Meidroth and Pereira a chance to set something up early.
