At what point do we start to believe?

I'm just happy when we go down 3 runs early the game isn't over.

I am unhappy because when we go up 3 chances are we will win and the last 2 years I made a killing live betting the other team to win at + money. 2 years ago I won $2500 betting against the sox.

Two years ago If you started with a $100 bet and rolled over winnings into new bets on losses, after the 21 loss streak, you would have had $2.something million 🤣

  • Your 2026 Chicago White Sox.....We no longer suck!!! And for now, that is enough to stay in the Central race way deeper into the season than I thought. They have been way more watchable since Colson

Have been trying not to squash the optimism as I've been the positive one in in my real life circles, but this team still has no pitching outside of Schultz. Still not a believer in Burke/Martin/Fedde

  • I'll start to believe at the trade deadline if they are within striking distance and JR allows Getz to get upgraded talent and not trade players away for prospects and 'magic beans...'

Start to believe? We don’t stop believing, remember?

Needs to be said even if the Sox don't win today.

West coast road trip, perhaps the 3 biggest crowds in a 3 game series they will face all year because of the weekend dates , Padres playing well and perhaps Mune Mania.

They are doing very very well with a chance for the 🧹.

Somehow Kay hasn't been a dumpster fire today.

Don't let this go to waste, offense.....get some runs for him.

Skubal out for at least 1.5 to 2 months with elbow surgery

First place or bust...

Winning team might not be far off. Winning ballpark is a ways off if ever. Tired of hearing about it really.

All I believe is that the team is a real MLB baseball team that will have good times and bad times in some combination. There are some nice young players and there are some very weak links. Staying out of last place will be a victory but that victory is not assured.

Up to 15th in wRC+, 18th in position player fWAR and 15th in pitching fWAR. Playing some really solid baseball keep it up!

I like what I am seeing with Vargas busting it on every play and on course for 25+ hrs. Sam A. could be our leadoff man and is intense on getting better. Colson is on course for 30+ bombs and playing outstanding defense, Muni, the Babe Ruth of Japan, is everything we could ask for and more, Teel will be coming back, B Montgomery is tearing it up in the minors and could be making the move to the Sox, Schultz is the real deal, Davis Martin has been an Ace so far, Burke has been dealing, the team is united under Venable and is fun to watch.

I believe this team is only going to get better.

I already believe but I won't truly believe until the Pope and a few other familiar faces are in the Soxtalk banner instead of the old group that fell apart.

If not the Pope then any of Mune, Colson, Teel, Schultz, Vargas, Antonacci, Meidroth, Martin, Burke . It can always be changed if Braden Montgomery or Bonemer enter the scene if anyone cares. Let's go Jason I know you care !

Wow you replace Schriff with Colson . Yesss !

I know batting average doesn't mean much these days, but holy s%*# this lineup doesn't get a lot of hits. But when they do, they make it count.

14th in OBP with a top 10 ISO, so them being 25th in average doesn't really matter

I will say their offense is run by two guys who I anticipate will run very hot and very cold. It'll be a lot of fun when we're riding high like right now, but there will be 20-30 day stretches where it's going to be really tough to watch.

All the high notes aside, it's been ONE day since Chris Getz allowed Colson Montgomery to be played somewhere but Shortstop.

Every time we have to reset the counter, we cry a little bit.

I'm pleasantly surprised they seem to have already realized Acuna sucks and he's now a super sub. Usually it takes them three months to move off an obvious failed offseason addition.

Chicago White Sox: B+

The big headline has been Munetaka Murakami, who is a threat to break the single-season record for strikeouts -- which scared off many teams, despite his big power numbers in Japan -- but nonetheless is hitting .231/.374/.564 with an MLB-leading 13 home runs. He's as pure a three-true-outcomes guy as we'll ever see: He hasn't even hit a double yet. But Murakami isn't the only story here. Top pitching prospect Noah Schultz has debuted and displayed strikeout stuff. Colson Montgomery is swatting home runs. Sam Antonacci looks like a fun player and Miguel Vargas has more walks than strikeouts. The White Sox probably don't have the pitching or lineup depth to hang here all season, but they'll avoid 100 losses -- and maybe even make a run at .500.

Too many unknowns now to gauge how things will look going forward, i.e., Kyle Teel - an unknown return while Quero struggles), Braden Montgomery (will he rake in AAA ?), Noah Schultz (will he recover from getting roughed up?), Fedde and Kay (borderline back of rotation pitchers- can they rack up a few wins?) , can Leasure prove he is worth his Contract? etc.

If the Cubs come in and sweep us that could really break momentum and dampen spirits. If OTOH, the Sox sweep them, that will have quite the opposite effect. Yeah it's only 3 games but no way can the importance of that series to fans be diminished.

Cubs with three consecutive walk offs so and are playing unreal at Wrigley at the moment.

1/3 is the most that can realistically be expected.

Leasure contract is approximately item #39 on the list of organizational concerns.

Those SOB's must have a gold plated horseshoe stuck up their collective rear ends.

How the hell are they winning with half their damn pitching staff on the IL??????????? 😠

I'll say one things for those guys, when it comes to extra innings they know how to get the Manfred runner over and in. Fundamentals.

Thanks for ruining my night!

Well after the disapointing close to the series Sox are 18th in position player fWAR with a 97wRC+ and 15th in pitching fWAR.
