Big belief in the offense, and excited to see how much better it can get with Teel back in seat!

Still no real belief in the pitching staff, as they only have 2 starting pitchers that could be relied upon. Count me as a believer, but weary of the staff and a believer that the lack of pitching would really hamper their ability to do anything beyond the regular season. The AL is so weak this year the Sox should do everything they can to give it a ride!

Hahn's last rebuild was a couple Cuban signings and two productive trades, really. In retrospect, we now know there were so many missteps. Through bad drafts, neglecting development, bad trades, rushing their prospects, putting first basemen in the outfield, cheaping out in free agency, it took 4 years and they still made the post season 2 years in a row at the end of that. I never understood the insistence that we were 6-10 years away from being competitive.

This team looks like they're going to have a bottleneck with offensive prospects, like, as soon as Pereira comes off the IL. Last year's insane number of TJS's thinned out their pitching depth. I can't imagine what this organization will look like once International starts cooking.

The 1st rebuild could never draft and develop it's own draft picks. You're about the poorest example of a White Sox "fan" I have ever encountered. You lacked vision except for tunnel vision, focusing on every thing that was going wrong instead of what was going right.

That's about the last thing the panicans can cling to since that'll take a while to see if they can draft and develop some16 years olds to stardom.

That and how sustainable this is. But Getz has got the team from point A to point B by surrounding himself with good people and building a White Sox way of doing things that is paying pretty fast dividends.

I believe. The boys have been playing great baseball and the division and AL overall are meh. We can do this even if the pitching regresses a bit.

Yeah I feel that. I prefer the weekday afternoon games because my near 2-year old and 6-month are out of the house lol I don't watch as much at night or weekends. I try to watch the quick recaps on MLBTV every morning of the previous game though.

Of course, I'm working during those games but usually can carve out time to watch a game. Just front load my work day.

Nearly everyone said 2028-2030 because of the likelihood they weren't going to spend big in FA in a potential lockout year.

That's hardly ten years.

Please tell us when the Sox Dominican Academy produces a legit major leaguer.

If you felt so strongly, why didn't you bet $1000 for the Sox to make the playoffs?

Then later revised upwards to 77-78, but not sure what exact date that happened, actually.

I remember the majority had picked 70-72 wins...

James Fegan was at 79 all along.

2030 is 6 years from 2024. Pouncing on any talk of a rebuild had nothing to do with free agency spending. Speculation drifted out past 2030 because Getz was nowhere near as smart as the keyboard koaches who could spell-check "incompetence" and "accountability".

The point you seem to be trying to dunk on was that Hahn/KW made many mistakes in the last rebuild. They drafted 1-dimensional projects with top picks. They neglected investment in overall development at all levels. They traded all their stars, and most of the trades were garbage. You remind us regularly that JR didn't spend in free agency for that rebuild, either. Yet, they made back-2-back playoff appearances in 4 years with the bare minimum of competence. This time, they started in a deeper hole, and this team got relevant faster.

Chris Getz created a very good team for you to jump on the bandwagon. Don't worry, there's room for all of you glum chums to declare that you were right all along and were telling everyone about Dave Wilder before that was a thing. LOL.

I've said multiple times that I wouldn't be surprised by a finish over .500. Ive been relegated to the tablet and phone to stream the games.

My son says "dad, you watch white sox baseball on your phone. The TV is for me."

I do get to watch still at least, but havent watched on the TV yet this year lol.

Ill say, if Colson is out and Mune, it really changes my optimism a bit but this team has been catching the breaks this year so hoping Colson back is temporary. Sounds pretty scary though
