Zackly. You'd have 4 powerhouses, and a bunch of patsy teams, rostered by mailmen and plumbers. It sucks that Teel got hurt, but big picture is the first step to mdse sales, and a potential future pipeline of talent.

Yeah, injuries suck but either don’t do it at all if the MLB is so afraid of injuries for their own regular season, or just proceed because injuries are unpredictable but keep it competitive by spreading out the talent.
