May 11May 11 Sox now have a Big Three, that will be putting fear into many opposing pitchers. Mura our Japanese Aaron Judge, Vargas and Colson. With Vargas humming, the Kopech trade is looking much better. It reminds me of the Big Threes in the NBA with LeBron. There is no one else with a similar Big Three home run threat in theAL Central.
Monday at 08:14 AM5 days It's early you're arguing them at their height what the team needs is someone that isn't Benintendi that can be that 16-25 home run hitter he was supposed to be instead of the worst player in baseball besides Quero. There's a lot of possible slumps for Vargas, Mune and Montgomery but very little upswing of any of the players on the roster even if Teel comes back and is great or Pereiera keeps doing what he was doing. That leaves us with either bringing Braden up and he's not really ready. The real penis in our ass is the revolving door of relievers who can't stop fucking us. but we are too young of a team and it'd be futile to take that dick out of our ass this early. We're obviously in need of a power hitting outfielder that doesn't suck at fielding.

Use limited funds elsewhere than on players who may or may not actually contribute. Our waiver wire guys look arguably better than our well-paid closer The Cubs did that this offseason and every single one of those guys is on the DL. They’re still winning games, but they’re a much scarier team if they consolidate the pennies they spent on various bullpen pieces into signing a position player, ie Tucker.

When they have Ishbia's money, keep running the place like the Brewers run theirs + well-considered Free Agents.

Monday at 06:34 PM5 days Yeah I’ll wait for more than a 30 day sample size before I crown Vargas as a part of a “Big 3”. Hopefully the swing adjustments really have turned things around, but I’ll be cautiously optimistic for now
