If Braden M. is killing it in AAA at the All Star break, should they call him up?

Why I ask is because of how well Meidroth is doing now compared to last season.

It may benefit the Sox having BMont get the experience now to set him up for a better 2027.

The bigger question is does Roch pull a Dave Winfield

Ive said if he's doing well that before the All-Star break isnt out of the question maybe late June. Charlotte is a band box so I'd be shocked if he didnt do well there. The question will be is that enough time to see what they need to see from him. I think it will be.

looking at the cubs lineup and what their players have been doing over the last 7 games, the only two guys performing at all are Conforto and Busch, the rest of the team has been pretty bad

Yea Brooke gave the update on the post game show and I posted it in the winners thread last night actually. Not the tweet just what she said Venable told her which is the same as what she tweeted. He got hit by a pitch in the hip the day before and got a bit of a jolt of pain while he was running.

Good call. They have a 87 wRC+ in May so far. Def slumping a bit. Maybe we caught them at the right time with the weather heating up and big crowds at our place this weekend.

Venable was on the score about half an hour ago and said that he was limping because he had hit that pitch off his leg earlier in the at bat, he is in the lineup and they think he is fine(even though they are gonna make him run to make sure he is good)

Warmer weather will certainly help. Everything feels a bit better in a 75 degree humid day than a 55 degree one.

I think the Sox do well this series. They are facing 3 RHSP. Time for some new Cub killers to rise up.

I just hope all the Sox fans didnt sell their tickets to Cubs fans. This has to feel like a home game .

Here we go ! Kap melts down over debate if Colson Montgomery is better than Dansby Swanson.

In fairnesd ,Kap has expanded the ReKap Podcast to include Ryan McGuffey and Brian Anderson for Sox content and has been giving the Sox props on their play this year. But this meltdown is hilarious.

If the money line moves sharply in our favor, it's clear Vegas sees that @WestEddy started this thread.

I think we're in good shape.

At this point in their career there isn't a single GM in baseball picking Swanson ROS this year or any other year after. That said, Swanson has had a great career and if Colson puts up 29 fWAR as a Sox (Swanson's career total) I'm good with that.

I’ll be there tonight. Can’t freaking wait. I hope for a really good ballgame. Also I wanna see some fire and drama. Maybe some benches clearing or something. Just nobody get hurt lol. But moreso just a great game and a Sox win. Walkoff homer would be friggin awesome
