19 hours ago19 hr Acuna cooked his own goose by having too many non-competitive at-bats. Sergio Santos described how Nishida has had a positive impact on the team. Beyond baseball his smile is infectious and he has a great competitive attitude. Will that be enough to keep him on the roster? I don't know but I am convinced he deserves a chance. Also, he will be a great teammate and friend of Mune which will only help both of them. Credit to Cali for calling this one and to Getz for having the gorliones to make this move.

19 hours ago19 hr He's obviously played well in AAA. The fit is questionable because he is a lefty 2nd baseman. I wonder if the fact that he is Japanese influenced the decision at all. Bring up another player from Japan to make things easier on Mune - even though he seems to be adjusting well to the US. Gotta keep Mune happy!
