There we go!

I'll be heading to the game tonight. Weather is going to be interesting. I'll take the train so that I don't have a vehicle in anticipation of several beverages during a rain delay.

A Sox fan taking a train to the ballpark? I've read on Soxtalk that this is unheard of!

Am I bad at reading a radar or does it seem to be going north?

Future radar shows that the part just west of Chicago is sliding NW, but we still get walloped by this storm eventually.

Interesting fact about Dominic Smith and Anthony Kay: Smith has only faced him once and in that at bat he hit a grand slam.

Huge mistake locking my thread and slandering me in this one. Check out what Gemini said about me. Can't say it's incorrect.

I just got back from our walk. The sky was dark gray in the north, and by the end of our two mile jaunt, it was sunny, and the sky was overcast north of us. It's overcast, but not as foreboding.

Feels like some sort of interruption is coming no matter what

SB, that sounds like a great plan! Years ago I would have been ALL IN for that "several beverages during a rain delay" scenario, but I got into a lot of problems with the alcohol, so I became a tea drinker about 17 years ago. However, I hope your outing will be super fun, and that you'll get to see a winner!

Smart. Don’t get the pitchers all sweaty and then sit for 1-2 hours.

Can't say that is correct either...

Looks like one last major storm area moving over area right now. Should be north of Rate field by maybe 8:30? That's my best guess looking at how it's moving on radar.

I see you've begun drinking earlier than usual!

My mother would never go to bed until she heard Tom's forecast....she wasn't going anywhere, she just needed to know.

I saw him speaking at MSI once....the man is a weather Rock Star.

That son of a b**** is probably hoping for an F-5 tornado. He literally came out of retirement today for the storms.

Ohhh a little shot across the bow. LOL. No problem. I somewhat empathized with your complaint about the cheap seats in the 500 level. None of my friends ever sit up there. I suggest getting better seats if you ever plan on returning. Also maybe familiarize yourself with the residential areas to the East of the stadium, the IIT campus/neighborhood, and note the train access at the Sox 35th street station before hardening your opinions further.

So yes, please come back and attend a game this season by any mode of transportation available to you. I was going to go tonight but cancelled any plans earlier because of the forecast.
