In Martin’s other bad start as of late, he also was let down by defense and wasn’t able to pitch over it. Instead of assuming he suddenly sucks, maybe he just gets too amped when the defense lets him down.

I think Rice bobbles the catch a bit and that should make him safe IMO. Not sure how the rulebook handles that though.
