I lived in Southern Illinois for about 7 years and maaaaaaan that is a different heat. Haven’t done Arizona yet and I expect it to be a different kind of smothering when I do

Dry sauna is accurate to an excent. Can be more dangerous as u dont get the same over heating feedback.

I say this over and over. I don’t give a s%*# who the announcers are. If the Sox win that day, whoever it was were the best announcers in the world.

Im in Freeport and it's sunny here

It's been raining in Vegas today (but at levels a game could be played through)

SoxMachine pregame notes:

Pregame notes: Trying to pad the division lead - Sox Machine

Chris Murphy is opening for Erick Fedde in this game. Venable is happy about the lineup effects it has had.

"We get the matchups up front that we like, and there’s often an adjustment the opposition will make to their lineup, which is beneficial also," Venable said. "That’s the case today where they still have [David] Fry up front, which Murphy will have to deal with the first time around. But then we’re able to put the pressure on that matchup and get an extra righty for Fedde."

First pitch 3:50 per internets so be ready all you guys

Steve stone still sick?!

Slider up and away at 96MPH??

Murphy has good stuff. If he doesn’t walk the world, he can be tough. Certainly more promising than Eisert. I hope they get something from him because Ronny Hernandez may be a dude.

Good stuff by Vargas taking that walk

Bibee's stuff is pretty diseptive

We'll allow it after we had them positioned perfectly on the line drive in the late innings last night.

Sure. All bets are off now.

Good job by Murphy

Good job Murphy. Opener continues to work more often than not.

So far Fedde has a control problem

Great start Fedde
