Sox go for sweep of KC: 1:10 CDT 6/28

I know you were wondering, but no the Sox do not lead MLB in pickoffs. That moves us to 11. There are two teams with 13 (COL and TBR) and one with 12 (HOU). Sox move into a tie with ATL. Interestingly, HOU and ATL have stolen very few bases relative to the others on the leaderboard.

Richards is an interesting player to me. He's essentially a trick pitcher. The trick often works but you never know when it's going to stop working. The trick being that he has a changeup that breaks almost a foot more than any comparable change at the same speed would be expected to.

When it doesn't work, he gives up homers lol

What does Vargas have on his thumb/hand on his right hand? Do most players wear that and I don't notice it?

I think it's a thing that started coming into fashion around the time I stopped playing baseball. Basically functions as a cushion to reduce the sting/vibration on balls hit off of the sweet spot. If that's what it is, I'm not sure why he'd keep it on while running the bases other than just not wanting to lose it.

Thanks. I figured it must have to do with the vibration.

I don't want to see Cruz pitch anymore.

Hopefully the offense doesn't shut down the rest of the game

Why are you spending your last challenge there

Damn, last challenge used

His stuff is so flat. Don’t know why he doesn’t throw more splitters

We don't deserve to win this game but lets win it anyways.

Good lord he's fucking awful. If he can't even pitch in the 6th just release him and eat the money.

He owes Teel a steak dinner.

Whether we like it or not Sir has to improve and start pitching meaningful innings because at his salary he is stuck on this team.

Surprised that Tony was able to hit 100mph there. Didn't realize he had it in him.

6 guys in your lineup with a .750 OPS or higher, you need to be blasting these losers out of the yard

So far, Sox have played them about even on the batter vs. pitcher confrontation, but Sox have an error and allowed them to run wild on the bases. Sox have not gained an edge for themselves in those areas.

Saving too many of our baserunners for 2 out situations. Hard to manufacture runs when that happens.

Be cool if they stopped getting all of their base runners after making two outs.

least we turned lineup over if nothing else.

I would like to order one homer please

Sam would have lost the challenge that he wishes he had
