4 hours ago4 hr FWIW, yesterday Braden dove for a bloop off the bat of Isaac Collins and came up just short. Some folks thought he might have misplayed it since the ball hung up in the air for a long time. Statcast data is in: 5% catch probability, the first time Statcast has classified a ball hit to him as potentially catchable without him catching it. That's basically at the "only PCA can catch it" tier. So ultimately I'm fairly impressed that he was only a step from catching it and his ability to run down fly balls continues to impress, especially when you consider the scouting reports usually suggested that he didn't know what he was doing out there and would have to develop in order to be a good overall outfield defender.Interestingly, this is his highest difficulty catch so far: https://baseballsavant.mlb.com/sporty-videos?playId=2131e45a-c7a0-33f5-bc02-8a31eccd7a58Such a good jump and speed that it looks like a routine out.

Pitchers making good pitches but the hitters are just getting enough of a piece to put the ball in play and they are falling in.
3 hours ago3 hr I was at Camden back in like 2011 when I was still pretty young and had a lot more hair up front. Was an absolute blast. That was Viciedo's debut at 3B. 22s of PBR were $4 bucks from the outfield stand and Camden def lived up to the hype, a great "open air" stadium is how I'd describe it, it feels like an organic part of the neighborhood rather than how Rate feels sorta just plopped down with some parking lots.

Also, it was hot as f*** when I went and they had free water everywhere and I even saw some ushers bringing free water to people in the stands. Our usher was giving out free baseball cards. Cool place

2 hours ago2 hr Yea Camden is a top one for me as well. Baltimore isn't bad as long as you stick pretty close to Inner Harbor/Federal Hill/Fells Point. I probably woulda made the trip up if it was a weekend series.

Cool placeVisited the in-laws. Flew into BWI and took the train right to Eutaw Street. O's v. Rays in April. Great game, got drunk. We all walked to the Inner Harbor. Beautiful stadium, great people.
1 hour ago1 hr I was at Camden in 1993, during the All-Star Break....didn't go to any of the game stuff but walked down Eutaw and passed Frank Robinson. I'm old.
1 hour ago1 hr I was shocked that Ken Griffey Jr. is still the only guy to hit a homer off the B&O wall in right. And that was during the homerun derby. I couldn't believe that when I was there because that wall looks so close but I just looked it up and it's 440 feet so yeah, quite the illusion haha

It seemed like some of the people bought a ticket just to hang out in the outfield and gaze at the river rather than the game haha. Atlanta has an awesome parking setup and just great atmosphere. Best hot dog I've had at the ballpark too. Might be a little bias because Atlanta murdered the cubs when I went and Madrigal struck out a few times so it was extra fun haha
49 minutes ago49 min Camden was real nice. Went there in 1995 and saw Griffey hit a HR.Went to a Mariners game last year. Was a bit disappointed in that park. The gate we came in went through the team store and was kind of a cluster of a setup. Was nice that we were able to street park a few blocks from the stadium and get on our way almost immediately though.
38 minutes ago38 min We’re in town for this one! Our summer trip this year was NYC/Philly/DC and we’re finishing up tonight/tomorrow in Baltimore. My son is undefeated in his Sox game career (4-0) and we’re looking to push it to 5-0 tonight! Sitting in left field, hoping to snag a bomb off the bat of Miguel.
17 minutes ago17 min yeah Camden is a real nice park, went there circa 95/96 and it was super hot, saw Frank launch a few out to right field during BP.
