Is Davis also tipping his pitches?

Looks like his little “tap” with his hands at the beginning of his delivery is more pronounced before breaking balls. Much smaller of a “tap” with his fastball.

Not sure if that’s actually happening or if it’s just me.

Probably not something too noticeable from the plate, even if so

When Davis got the extra rest a few weeks back, he said afterwards that he realized his body was really starting to break down a bit and he benefited from the extra days off. I got the impression that it wasn't his arm so much as the whole package. My guess is he's fighting the dog days right now.

Well if you can see it the tribe def can.

I’m still pissed that we had runners on second and third with no outs. This game should be tied.

All they needed to do was get two fucking balls in the air - at worst.

Jesus.

I’m certainly no expert, but it looks like you can see his entire pitching hand in that initial tap before a breaking ball.

The angle I have of the broadcast is something the Tribe can’t see from the box, obviously….

Guards were supposedly signaling to their batters from the bases last series, but it was unclear (even to their own broadcast) if it was "real" signals or just mind games

Cleveland starters only get better after tonight. Runs will be scarce.

Funniest thing about Colson's game is he produces a lot of those perfectly mis-hit balls that end up as very high probability hits. Some of you might remember that the first 2 or 3 weeks after his call-up, he produced fairly good numbers on the back of those kinds of balls before he finally started hitting for power.

Guys, we need to remember we can hit HR.

Great, Meidroth up with RISP!

Meidroth stays doing Meidroth things.

Felt like Meidroth could have challenged both of those first two pitches then put a shitty swing on the third

When?

More Grichuk, less Meidroth

Not feeling great

Already down 1 challenge because if Teel's horrible challenge

Fucking Meidroth

The good news: you have a chance to knock in runs. Bad news: the first two pitches are like this

This is also on Venable for having him in this spot of the lineup. No reason he’s not batting 9th.

I just have no faith in Meidroth to come up with a big hit

First two pitches were dirty, but regardless I agree. Meidroth had no chance there and I have no confidence in the guy. I look forward to when Ant can take his spot at 2nd base and we get a LFer.

Agree! Would much rather have had Gonzalez up there. He’s been driving in runs lately.
