He's -7.1 runs with the glove and is running a small half season sample with the bat. If he's really a 137 wRC+ sure dump him at 1B and call it good. But if he's closer to 115 then he's a platoon super sub type. I'm happy he's doing well, it shows the Sox are doing better on the margins, just like they did well to trade him rather than just lose him to a 26 man crunch on a team that suddenly has too many quality IF.

Chris Getz has already dissembled and exposed the Braves and Dodgers. Getz is building every team in the league to be perfectly exploitable by the White Sox team he's built. Whichever team makes it to the playoffs and Series, it's already built to lose to our White Sox.

Yes Getz has done a spectacular job building this team. It's also OK to criticize him when he makes a bad move. You have a habit of getting defensive anytime anybody criticizes the front office.

God Gonzalez is a fucking stud…I love what we did in the draft, but would rather have Jacob over Landon and our 5th round pick.

Jury's still out. Thorpe's poised to be our August 30th addition, Iriarte looking like our future closer, Pereira and Murray will be great bench pieces next year, and Samuel Zavala hasn't injured anyone in a collision, yet.

Most of the guys you named can’t even get on the field and Zavala can’t even put up a .700 OPS in AA.

WE, this is why people don’t take you seriously, just like @ron883 said. Yes, Getz has made a lot of good moves but you are literally acting like he has been infallible, which simply is not the case. The Cease trade was fucking cow dung. You know it and everyone knows it. No need to cuck for the guy. Preller held Getzy over a barrel and whispered in his ear that he was his daddy. It was basically the opposite of the James Shields trade. Also, I wouldn’t mind if they had Jake McCarthy right now over 275 plate appearances from Dominic Fletcher. Most of his moves lately have been good to great so perhaps he wised up with experience.
