Yes, but was purely kidding. I am fascinated by the kid though, especially if he can grow into more of a regular catcher.

Bonemer is such a freaking stud. His home runs have not been cheapies either. He mashes it. He's cut back on his K rate since getting to AA. It was 29% in A+, it's 23% in AA.

They've only been playing him at SS and 3B though. Wonder when they'll give him burn at LF and 2B.

2B may be his home long term.

I wish they'd start playing him there and in LF. There's no room at SS and 3B on this team. He clocked at a 60 grade speed recently. I'd imagine he's got what it takes to be a good fielding in LF.

I wonder how many non-high draft picks have ever hit all 4 levels in their first season? Not sure how you quanitfy that but hes got a real chance to do it. Has to be rare.

I could be talked into Bonemer for high end starting pitching with control. I think we've had a similar thought exercise with Ryan Sloan as a return.

You’re 100% right…and he hasn’t slowed down a bit as he’s moved up which is what’s most impressive.

@Sleepy Harold @Y2Jimmy0 what do you guys make of Boston Smith? He's been a complete monster so far. 20 HR in 70 games. Completely destroying in AA so far.

Not only has he not slowed down, he’s improved significantly at every level.

On the topic of B. Smith, great interview with him on the latest FutureSox podcast. Really thoughtful young fella, and Elijah Evans has really improved his interview skills.

Boston Smith not on the Top 30 list on website, but Landon Hodge is.
