Sox figured out how to fix Seranthony: replace him with Jordan Hicks.

My old bullpen script. Keep sorting them out till you find the ones that suck the least. Don’t rule out a later emergence of Serantony. He still throws nasty stuff.

Great win! It is huge because the Sox are about to start the toughest stretch of the season. They have Houston for 3, Yankees for 4, Rays for 3, Red Sox for 3, Clev for 3.

Don't' remind me.

What a bullpen!

He hasn't been the same since returning.

Mune did hit 9 home runs in the HR Derby and pocketed some spending money…

Can’t wait. Quero did not look good tonight. Bad challenge and the dropped pop up to begin with.

Need a catcher that can hit.

And have better defense and challenges than what we have with Quero and Romo.

Didnt he say 5-8 weeks ? I mean id love it to be 4-6 because that was my prediction before the 6 or 8-12 weeks thing came out.

If you still want a starting pitcher the Sox will not spend the prospect capital for much else. I'd recommend a current 1.2 bWar catcher like Luis Torrens of the Mets. Maybe pair him with Clay Holmes in a trade if the Mets don't resign Holmes.

Once August start the trades will start flowing. A few might trickle in ahead of that.

Of course they do.

And Jose Ramirez back...well, the White Sox are basically now playing with house money

not going to get upset like in 2012 when they led the Tigers until the final month

How about a mystery 10 day IL for Seranthony with a trip to the pitching lab to get it together.

The next 16 games are huge and tough, we play the Astros for 3, Yankees for 4, Rays for 3, Red Sox for 3 and Guards for 3. If we can still be 7-8 games over after this spell I think we will make the playoffs, 2 of the keys are Mune and Colson, they need to start hitting homers again, I know Colson is streaky but he’s really in a funk right now. The pitching except for Tuesday has been pretty good, the bullpen has really stepped it up, somehow we have to find another starter and a serviceable catcher. I’m not counting on Teel, they are saying up to 8 weeks before he’s back and with a rehab stint the season is just about over, I think they should shut the guy down and let him have the whole off-season to be 100% ready for 2027.
