Boston, just like the last series against them, is the hottest team in baseball. Their pitching has been incredible and they’re seemingly squaring up anything thrown at them. That’s a tough team to be

By my count, Sox are 14-12 in their last 26. 0-5 vs. Boston, 14-7 vs. everyone else. Would have been nice to have caught them in May or June.

  • Would be absolutely hilarious if they pull off this game and twins and guardians lose again, and the Sox gain another game after getting smacked around by Boston

welp that’s the ballgame folks

Pull him for fuvks sake

Exactly! Managing this game like it's game 7 of the World Series. Then leave Richards out there just to give it away. Awesome

Former Brewer won't hit into a DP here?

Burn the entire pen AND lose the game is sure gonna be fun.

Just awful pitching

who wanted Richards in lol?

Why? This has been a good game against the hottest team in baseball on the road.

Blew multiple leads so that is frustrating

Leave him in. Richard looks great. Really has command

This is the kind of game that can break teams. This team has been extremely resilient up to this point, but losing a game like this could be a back breaker..

Would be nice if we had a bench to use. Like pinch runners and s%*#

Nothing like burning down your pen and getting swept all at once folks

Murphy better not walk him

Talk about just giving a game away. The first two games of the series I wasn't even bothered. Tonight I'm really pissed.

Richards with the lower ERA this game than Castillo lol

You're out of pitchers and Richards doesn't have it. You're just hoping and praying at this point. There has been a lot of good in this game for our Sox. Don't overthink it. Lot of random s%*# will ultimately have decided the outcome one way or another.

Oh, bullshit.

Lighter fluid Richards

now Murphy????????

Sam almost cost the game

Murphy should have been in this game to begin with. Putting him in with the bases loaded when he has control/walk problems is a bad idea.

So now he switches, what is going on..why wait so long to do that

You’re bringing in a dude with bases loaded two outs in the 11th??
