I feel like there was an effort early in the year with Dominguez but when that failed they just went back to the matchup game. No more bullshit. Make Taylor the closer, Brazoban can be a nice 8th inning guy with Hicks going the 7th and lefties to be used as needed. No more 40 pitch Taylor outings or adventures in the 6th. There are so many tools in that pen being improperly utilized and thats the most frustrating part.

There are a ton of unknowns with this team and kids who are getting their first taste in many ways… but I think it’s a bit extreme to say or think that this team is going to be looking up at Detroit soon.
