    You're due for a victory.

  • Going to the game tonight. If we keep doing what we did last night it will be my last of the year. That was a terribly disappointing loss. Looked like a team that shut it down and tried to coast, whi

Schriff's "LET'S GO!" call is very Hawk-esque

No. Just no.

How dare you compare schriff dawg to the legend Ken Hawk Harrelson.

C'mon, Hawk was great too. It's not a slight at Schriff to compare him to Hawk.

they have Vargas out and Colson in just because it's a RHP?

sigh

They have Vargas out to steal a couple innings of rest in a stretch of 16 straight.

I don't know when/why this place decided literally every time someone sits is some dogmatic platoon conspiracy.

6-3 Guards bot 7

Hedges with a higher ops than Colson is nutty

Hawk was legendary, don't care what anyone else says, I remember he used to get smoke here because he was a homer but he was our homer.

Oh their pitcher has an ERA near 8 on the road cool cool

Until those last 6-8 years, so many great memories growing up with him and Wimpy, Rooney Farmer Hagin etc. on radio

Schriffen couldn’t pull a better catch phrase than Hawk outta his behind even if it was greased and he had a pair of pliers.

Sam and Chase feel like our only reliable hitters right now

Does this home plate umpire oil his arms?

Anyone remember there was a whole website back in the day dedicated to Hawk hate? This was maybe 20-25 years ago I cant remember exactly. I grew up with him and loved him. Find it funny though the polar opposites of love/hate some announcers get. (Hawk, Benetti, Stone, etc.)

Murakami keeps ob streak alive

should be around 27 now

Game is on the bases.

Seattle Mariners prospect Boston Smith hits 5 HR in debut...

The Seattle Mariners picked up fast-rising catcher prospect Boston Smith in the Luis Castillo trade, and he's off to an incredible start on the farm.

Lowder is not good and we're letting him off the hook

It was love and hate. He would get so angry the Sox were losing that he would go silent for long periods of time. But he was a happy homer as long as the Sox were winning. And then he would blow up if the Sox blew a lead. But toward the end, his eyesight got so bad that he couldn’t tell the difference between a can of corn and a no doubt HR.
