The Cubs series is the only series left this season with an above .500 team (rangers and astros keep going back n forth on it). Easily winning the division with their current pace against the central.

If the Sox play .500 ball the rest of the division would need to be like 690 ball. I just don't see that happening.

Detroit SOX City!

Cubs next and they might be coming back to earth as they’re struggling against the Cards, if we can win 2 in Wrigley, it will be huge.

Wonderful weekend series against the Tigers. Mune came thru with a big home run to turn the game around. I wonder if JR has any intentions of extending Mune to a long term contract. To the best of my knowledge he hasn't tried extending him. Hopefully that will change.

At this point, would take a pretty big collapse for the Sox to not win the Central.

Keep an eye on Astros/Rangers for all important 2 seed.

I wrote somewhere earlier the biggest series of the year might be the four-gamer in Houston

They were in discussions earlier in the year before the injury.

Incredible sweep in Detroit!

I love this team so much. I had no expectations of anything today especially when Burke was struggling but they found a way to overcome everything.

If Philly can close out the Twins it will be even better!

This team is amazing and I'm so happy. My cat is also very happy! Wearing the white Sox hat with pride.

that tigers +83 RD is some crazy s%*# man

If its and buts were candy and nuts....oh what a party Detroit would have.......SUCK IT TIGGERS

I was at the Friday night game and pretty much every tiger fan I interacted with informed me they were gonna easily sweep us. Walked up to the concession stand same time as a tiger guy and he said," oh you're a White Sox fan. I feel bad for you coming all this way just to get swept so you go in front of me." I said nah you go ahead lol. All the tigers fans sitting near us said similar things when we got to our seats. It was so gratifying when those people left after Miguel's second homer lol. I gave them a "you guys leaving already?" What a sweep though! I love this team!

Are they undefeated when you get that hat on your cat?

I don't understand why they are so puffy chested. Their team played like s%*# all year so much that they traded their best pitcher.

Tigers fans in absolute shambles. They crawled all the way into the 2nd WC the last month then in the highest leverage games to date, maybe of the entire season, they s%*# THE BED.

SWEEP THE CENTRAL!!!! SUCK IT PANICANS!!!

Fangraphs Playoff odds:

Red Sox 93.3%
