He kinda looks like a position player on the mound. Hell of a performance!

The Hawk would have loved Urquidys change up.

Rogers has had good swings today

The wind robbed him of a 2 run homer.

We also win the first game with accurate strike/ball calls in the 9th. We outplayed them.

Why didn't the Cubs just pick up Urquidy instead of coughing up prospects for two guys he outpitched? Are they stupid?

Our hitters shouldn’t be allowed to challenge this inning

Sam particularly should have his challenging privileges revoked.

Jose Urquidy was worth the Doritos going to Pittsburgh.

If Urquidy can pitch like this consistently, he's gotta be in the rotation. Just nasty today.

Urquidy looked like a batting practice or HR derby pitcher, but had nasty junk.

So 3w and 3L against the northsiders this year. Getting better.

I missed the Montgomery throw and couldn't find a highlight of it.

Strong arm or not I didn’t think he was going to try for third just based on where it was hit. He was set up perfectly for it and it’s not like he caught it running the other way

Dude, it was a good throw.

Where did he say it wasn't?

It was. Not saying it wasn’t

CLE lost today so that also helps.

Who gets the 5th spot in the rotation when Davis comes back? Urquidy or Fedde?

6 man rotation?

If Davis does not return to his earlier form, just go with Fedde and Urquidy.

Honestly it sort of worked in 2011. Would try it again to give the arms some rest.

one team was designed not to lose 100 games and the other is design to go in the post season

The Sox were designed to get the young talent on the field, coach them up and see how it blends and keep churning the bottom of the roster and trying to find a few golden nuggets among the chaffe.

Appears to be working, not a finished product. There are still holes in the organization and a lame duck owner who may yet sabotage what's been built already along with labor issues.

No matter how you rearrange the arms it still amounts to not enough guys who can pitch 6 innings and still keep you in the game.

We need peak Martin, Burke, Kay , Castillo , Fedde/Urquidy. Somewhere down the road others could start this year. Thorpe and Sandlin are the 2 likeliest with Shane Smith and Cannon long shots. Ultimately those other guys may not have the time to establish themselves as options to be added to a playoff roster.

Getz may still play with the relievers but we've seen just about everyone tried.

Except with challenges.
