They are either guessing or completely fooled, maybe scared to swing once they have 2 strikes.

It’s so odd as they’ve been terrible against offspeed pitches, yet they’re taking fastballs down the plate. Look for pitches you can at least hit.

We are in first place but yet the Mets starting rotation is 10 times better than us

Agree, put Meidroth at leadoff and Ant batting second. Mune third, Vargas 4th, the DH 5th, Kolson 6th, BMont 7th, Peters 8th and the catcher 9th.

Is it time for shane smith's return? Maybe Noah too. I hate wasting Newcomb as a starter. He's one of the few guys who does'nt crumble in the late innings

Did we make a mistake not allowing Newcomb to be in the rotation this year? He's been very valuable out of the pen but would he have had more value as a starter? Would he have been able to hold up as a starter?

Shane has not been very good. He hasn't really shown anything to make him a viable option right now.

Kolson never has an approach.

I used to think Colson's long swing was the reason for all of his K's, but I'm starting to realize pitch recognition is more of a problem. He has no clue up there.

To be fair to a lot of these guys, this is the first time they are seeing most everyone in the league. I know they have trajekt but it still cant be the same.

That second fastball was a pretty good pitch to hit
