"Mis" kind of makes a big difference...when you have the clear best pitcher in baseball.

Cleveland is best described as a solid rotation and pen and an offense starting to find itself gsin versus lesser competition.

  • Sox are in first place, this sure beats shoveling snow.

  • I'd be slightly angry because Getz made the team worse at the deadline. He went for players that are under control vs rentals who are good. The disastrous deadline would make it a harder pill to swall

  • I will definitely be bummed if they fade out this season. I won’t be mad at them because all of this has been a really fun season and very pleasantly surprising. If they made the playoffs and got

Miz is their Haaland. It's like having a cheat code.

I reiterate this but anybody who thought the cubs would catch the brewers this year were out of their minds. You cannot drop multiple games in a row and expect to catch a team like that this is so well drilled and basically working from muscle memory about what they have to do down the stretch.

Brewers should have paid up for Skubal and gave themselves a lockdown 1-2 punch in the playoffs.

Weren't willing to part with Jesus Made or their other talented MI prospect..

I sure hope so. I don't know which to choose. I'll say yes very hesitantly because I don't think any of the Wild Card contenders (excluding Cleveland) are any good. I guess the most likely option of the three is they take the last wild card spot, but I wouldn't be shocked if they fell out of the playoffs. The starting rotation is as bad right now as Ive ever seen it. Blowing a 4.5 game lead in a month is hard to do but not THAT hard. The Sox have done it before.

Guardians pulling away from the pack with the wild card is probably a good thing for our overall playoff chances.

yes we're up to near 80 percent now on FG. we just need to get to 84 and we're likely in.
