The lack of adjustments by Will along with no sense of urgency is exasperating. Not moving Mune out of the second spot is managerial malpractice. Also don’t like to hit the strikeout prone Montgomer

  • Urquidy being used in mop up duty now...lol. Honestly Urquidy is probably better than Castillo at this point.

not an acceptable excuse since they all play 162 but it also reveals a poor farm system, he was once in charge of that

Stranded runners have been the story of the series for our offense.

and the next two swinging at balls

Braden is another guy who pulls off the ball way too much as a lefty. Last night when it’s breaking into his swing, he has a chance. Just compare his swing now to the first homer he hit.

That was the epitome of swinging at balls and taking strikes

These guys are watching get me over pitches early in the count and then swinging at anything close later. Its been pretty frustrating to watch. Are just purely guessing with no ability to react to something right down the middle? You have to make good pitchers pay for bad pitches and I haven't seen much of that lately.

Tough but at least brown is at 70 pitches through 3. Continue to make him work and get to the pen early.

Mune sucks

Maybe that's why no other teams were interested in him?

Fucking Venable refuses to move him down the order and he keeps killing rallies, he's nowhere near showing signs of life

Colson has a bad habit of swinging at balls outside the zone and watching strike 3 right down the middle, like he's just guessing

The one to Colson I can excuse. Im sure he thought he was going slider in on his back foot because thats where everyone has gotten him out until the last week or so.

100 pct guesser. Doesn’t work well when you swing and miss a lot at the pitches you’re guessing correctly on.

Yep. He’s just guessing and swinging as hard as he can on every pitch.

Colson has just fouled off so many fastballs right over the plate for a few months. Once he does that, you can tell mentally he’s defeated.

Luis was cooking with his change up earlier. Should throw it more.

He's talked about his approach at the plate pretty openly the last month or so. Im not saying its right or wrong, but it is a good insight into his process.

Ya especially the ones at the top of the zone.

That's no bueno

I also am very down on Mune, more so.

I don’t want him moved down in the order; I want him taken out of the order. We’re trying to win the division. Sox can’t be trying to make Mune happy so they can resign hm. He is killing the Sox right now and has been for over a month.

please get rid of him

Is it just me or have they owned us on the left field wall all series?

Stupid boxes. These arent even hard hit balls.

Another extra base hit for the Astros with an XBA of .070. Both the home run and double had XBA of 0.70. Pop ups most places.

Yeah Altuve theres no way you could br wrong. Waste a challenge selfish prick.

Any assumptions that Murakami and Colson are somehow going to break out of their batting doldrums before the season ends, which is almost here, is best described as a delirium. Will appears to be waiting for Santa to arrive. Play the subs more. They can do much worse.

Colson has been good the last week. He has come out of his slump.

We just keep punting games throwing Castillo out there. He is so bad
