I ain't even mad at Houston. They are an awful team who just played a team who decided to be worse.

The lack of adjustments by Will along with no sense of urgency is exasperating. Not moving Mune out of the second spot is managerial malpractice. Also don’t like to hit the strikeout prone Montgomer

  • Urquidy being used in mop up duty now...lol. Honestly Urquidy is probably better than Castillo at this point.

not an acceptable excuse since they all play 162 but it also reveals a poor farm system, he was once in charge of that

Meidroth has been great this year. Too early to tell on Montgomery. Teel's year has been a debacle due to injuries. Return much better than the Sale trade IMO. Think these players are only going to get better. Also don't mind the K's. In general, K's are a lot less of a taboo then they used to be.

Moncada was the #2 prospect in all of baseball and Kopech at one point the top RH pitching prospect

Crochet gave more depth but not the two elite upsides that fizzled

Vargas and crochet trade alone earns him a lot of goodwill.

Feels like the boys just gave up on this one after Castillo imploded in the 3rd.

Happens a lot or after we fail to score with runners on

Bad series. Come home and cook. Beat up on the Twins and get the bats right.

Havent won a series in Houston in how many years?

pretty sure with his interpreter he would have said something by now because pretty much the entire Japanese media is wondering what's wrong

well he is new to facing MLB pitchers

Varland trying to make it interesting.

Cleveland loses too. So 4 games off the schedule and we lost out on .5 a game. It just sucks because we should have won the game yesterday.

Luckily CLE isn't very good either. Really need to play well this weekend, CLE has DET for 4 games at home

False. They play 143 in Japan. And the furthest trip is 800 miles. Travel doesn't compare at all.

Toronto 70-71

Cleveland 70-70

Houston just 1.5 behind Sox

Well, the double header makes it less likely they sweep Detroit. Right?

It’s ovah at Cleveland. Toronto 6 Guardians 3.

you picked out one player to a post that was not about one player unless I read it wrong

It's one of the reasons even Ohtani scuffled his first year.

Mune was supposed to struggle mightily and then figure things out later...wrong order now.

Blue Jays win. Would’ve been nice to be coming home to a 4 or 5 game lead. Time for Will to light a fire under their asses…if he’s even capable of that

Too much GAS from Varland at the end.

Sorry. Thought your talking about mune

I’m just gonna pretend the Sox and Guardians had off days today.

Lost 4 of 5 after winning 4 in a row. We refuse to play above .500 ball for any stretch of time

It's really less about Cleveland and more about us. Cleveland is not good (Could they get hot.....sure.......but I don't see it). White sox have Minny, Pitt at home and ST.louis on the road in the next 9 before Cleveland. You have to go 6-3, and if you do, then you are in very good shape going into Cleveland. Then you see the light at the end of the tunnel.

still amazed that this team has not yet had a serious losing streak like Cubs proportions. Noe only if they could have a winning streak Red Sox style.

one day off each week

less games overall

less travel

not multiple time zones

mostly domes/climate controlled stadiums

missing that time in the middle of the year just blew up his timing and rhythm, confidence, what have you
