Totally agree, especially with how many guys we thought were legit now look like garbage. Could easily see this team be at the bottom of division next year

They look lifeless, and that was not their identity the first 2/3 of the season, they were never out of any game, always had some life. They just look totally out of gas. But that’s not an excuse, it’s a 162 game season for everyone. Playing like this during the 2nd half has been crazy disappointing

Braden is just another typical White Sox "prospect."

I mean he was drafted by the Red Sox, but he didn't play any games for their affiliate, he had a broken ankle I think, so you could definitely call him a White Sox prospect. he hasn't been good at all in RF, outside of the arm and he cannot hit LHP to save his life

This could easily become a 10 or more game losing streak

Castillo fb in Thorpe/Adams territory

If they were going to play this way, couldnt they have at least done it a little earlier? Its embarrassing enough being a White Sox fan as is, why do they have to do this to us in September. I was perfectly content going into this season not caring so much and enjoying the rebuild.

Castillo you suck

Just couldn’t have a nice inning.

he was rushed

maybe another issue Shirley had

1-12 pick for Boston, never suited up in a uniform

Just a turd every time he comes out. Never gives the team a chance

Yeah, fall out of it in August FFS. Not right at the end when every other team we're competing against also sucks.

He can’t pitch again holy s%*#.

This fucking ump sucks

So sad.

This is starting to feel like a mixture of the trials/travails of The Odyssey mixed with Dante's Seven Circles of Hell.

I think I can find the point where they tried to f*** with Castillo's mechanics, but I don't even think I care at this point.

interesting to put that into perspective, we've talked all year about how once they got into 1st place, they never put their foot on the gas ("never had a winning streak or losing streak more than 4-5 games") you could argue theyve not played well with pressure all year, they had a much better lineup than everyone else in the division outside of the Twins who still scored fewer runs

I think the trade deadline moves really screwed up what this team was able to do, they needed starting pitching so badly, the bullpen was never going to be able to continue this pace of pitching damn near every other game, so when the pitching inevitably faltered, the offense felt more pressure to get leads/hold leads and often always had to come from behind because they have zero reliable starting pitching

I think if the SP had held up, the offense would have never went into this slide

thanks for coming to my TED Talk

Castillo worst ever cost $20--pus million.

traded for an easy waiver wire dude

He'd be fine on a team tankin for the 1st round pick

Just checked the score

Why is this MF'r pitching for us?

This is worse than James Shields

This is excruciating.

I'm curious if there are any real reporters still covering our Sox and if so, do any of them have the guts to really question Getzy about the Castillo trade?

Castillo

a spy/double agent working for CLE as a saboteur like Cesar Hernandez lol?

BTW, his velocity right now is like 3 MPH slower than what he was throwing when we traded for him. They totally broke him.

I see a grand slam coming
