4 hours ago4 hr Good pitching has always given the Sox fits this year. Bad pitching they crush, sure, but this entire season has a theme of not being able to handle good pitching. Not fighting enough. Not changing approaches against guys with good command. Then, you have 3 guys almost batting under .200 and one setting K records and another would be right along with him if not for a 6 week injury. I have a hard time believing the Sox want to be a boom or bust offense like this which would have ZERO chance in the playoffs against the best pitchers in the league. Shoman has got to go, and if someone else is telling Shoman to coach like this - they have to go.

4 hours ago4 hr I wish I had looked at the Messick strikeout line before the game, because I could have just had money handed to me for free, regardless of what the number was.

I almost can't even believe it. They were just that good earlier this year. But hey, the league adjusted and we did not and now we are paying for it.Ant, Chase and TP are guys who understand that power is not their only trick and approach at bats accordingly. It's no wonder they are doing well, they aren't just trying to pull everything for a HR.
4 hours ago4 hr In a game where 1st place is on the line, we have.....*checks notes*..... Tommy Pham hitting cleanup.

4 hours ago4 hr What ever happened to keeping your eye on the ball til contact and taking the ball the other way? These Sox hitters are looking in the pull side bleachers on every swing.
